In the event of a dental emergency, the best thing to do is call Carolina Complete Dental immediately. If your emergency has occurred after hours, call our emergency line and a staff member will be available to help. If you cannot reach us for immediate help, call 911.

If you or a loved one have experienced a dental emergency, don’t panic. There may be a lot of blood, but you should know that oral injuries tend to bleed a lot, and when blood mixes with saliva it can make the injury look much worse than it is. You should apply pressure to stop any bleeding and rinse out your mouth to assess the location and severity of the injury.
If you’ve had a tooth knocked out, pick it up by the crown and place it in a sterile container. Soaking the tooth in milk will help preserve it, do NOT put it in water. Replacing a tooth is time sensitive you should call us right away for the best chance of saving your smile!
